Q: How do I import email contacts from my former email client to IncrediMail?

A: IncrediMail enables you to easily import your email contacts from popular email clients such as Outlook, Outlook Express or Eudora.

To import your email messages, please follow these simple steps:
  1. In the IncrediMail main window, click the 'File' menu (marked in red), scroll to 'Import' (marked in blue) and select 'Contacts...' (marked in green).

  2. At this point, the 'Import Contacts' dialog opens. Select the email client you wish to import your email contacts from and click 'Next' (marked in red).

    3. Note: To view all the email clients IncrediMail can import email from, uncheck the 'Only show the email clients installed on this computer' box (marked in blue).

  3. Click 'Select Folder…' (marked in red), browse to the location of your old email client folder, click 'OK' to return to the 'Import contacts' dialog and click 'Next' (marked in blue) to continue.

    4. Note: If you are unsure of the folder location, we recommend that you select the 'C:\' hard drive. IncrediMail will search the entire hard drive and locate the necessary files.

  4. Importing a lot of email contacts may take a while so please wait for the process to complete. Once it completes, click 'Finish' (marked in red).

  5. Your email contacts are now imported from your old email client to IncrediMail, and you may continue to use IncrediMail.
